Get ready to be the star of the show in the Miitopia: Casting Call demo. Plus, a demo for Hey! PIKMIN gives you a sneak peek at the game.
We head to a garden that looks absolutely nothing like a garden, and more like a sewer with random flowers placed here and there! The latest version as of is Alpha 0.9. Textures and sounds were changed from the original Pikmin game to copyright-free ones. If you want the original sounds can swap out the textures and sounds with Alpha 0.8's textures and sounds, just remember to rename 'Pikminpluck.ogg' to 'Pluck.ogg'. I personally like the new textures.
In Miitopia: Casting Call, you can pick some interesting Mii characters, or create your own. Assign each character a role, then cast them in one of three different video trailers for Miitopia. With humor, intrigue, and adventure, the video trailers will keep you wanting more! If you’re itching for more, head over to Nintendo eShop to download the other free demo for Miitopia. This epic experience lets you play through the full first chapter of the game—and you can play it right now!

Both games are available for pre-purchase starting today. To help fans start playing as soon as possible, we’re offering a buying option that lets you pre-load a non-playable version of the game before it launches. Here’s how it works: If you pre-purchase the game on Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS system, it will pre-load the game. That means you’ll be able to play after downloading a small game update when the game is officially released.
